Fun Summertime Tunes That Keep Me Happy
Summer heat is not yet at its peak, but if you’re like me, you love the sun and vacation time! Frankly, it can be a struggle to be stuck inside writing all day to meet deadlines while it is so beautiful outside.
While I can and do sometimes venture out to a local bookstore or coffee shop to write for a day, just as a change of pace, most of the time I write and edit from a comfy chair at home. And looking out a window at the sunshine often makes me want to exercise a bit of freelance freedom, quit for the day, pull out my kayak, and hit the water!
When deadlines and bills keep me pinned inside and tied to the computer, I crank up a music or video playlist and plow on. Lately, I’ve been playing more summertime music, so I thought I’d share a bit just for fun.
That’s right, there is absolutely no freelancing advice to be shared in this post. Just some fun music. So take a break, sit back, crank up my top 10 favorite summer songs, and jam the tunes!
